The Boston Celtics stormed back from a 27-point deficit to stun the Orlando Magic at home.
Paul Pierce had 24 points and 10 assists for the Celtics who picked up their third consecutive win by sweeping the home and home series with the Magic after holding Orlando to just 56 points on Monday night.
E’Twaun Moore came off the bench to add 16 for Boston connecting on 5-of-6 including all four from long range in an effective 18 minute cameo. Dwight Howard had 16 boards and 16 points for the Magic, but Orlando was just 5-of-17 from 3-point range and 38% overall from the field in another poor performance.
Chris Paul and Mo Williams each had 18 points and Blake Griffin led the way with 20 as the Los Angeles Clippers beat the visiting Memphis Grizzlies at the Staples Center in LA. Williams, who has the makings of a valuable sixth man candidate, was 8-of-15 on the night and added two assists, three rebounds and four steals in 30 minutes of work.
The Celtics are 9.00 to win the NBA Championship while the Magic are 7501.00 and the Clippers are 7501.00.
