Rafael Nadal was never in trouble as he breezed past Feliciano Lopez in straight sets to reach the Australian Open quarter-finals.
Nadal, who is 2.37 to go all the way this year, won 6-4 6-4 6-2 in a straightforward victory over his compatriot, and is yet to drop a set in the tournament. He will take on Tomas Berdych, who is 1001.00 to lift the trophy, in the last eight.

The second seed, whose right knee and left foot were heavily strapped, was relieved to make it through in less than two and a half hours in sweltering heat.
"I'm feeling fine. It's positive to keep winning in straight sets, especially in these conditions. It was a very, very hot day," he said.
"Feliciano is a very good friend of mine but I tried my best and so did he.
