Murray races into the third round

Andy Murray was in impressive form as he made short work of Edouard Roger-Vasselin to progress into the third round of the Australian Open.
The fourth seed won 6-1 6-4 6-4, taking just 23 minutes to see out the first set, and will face another Frenchman, Michael Llodra, on Saturday. Murray looked far more comfortable than his first-round battle against Ryan Harrison and was pleased with his display.

Llodra in the next round is tough.

"I served well today," said the Scot, who is now 6.00 to win the tournament. "I didn't give him too many opportunities on my serve, which was important as he played well in the second and third sets."
Roger-Vasselin lost the first five games of the match before rousing himself and forcing Murray to work for the win. However, the British number one was never in trouble and will now prepare for the unseeded Llodra, who defeated Alex Bogolomov 6-1 6-3 4-6 5-7 6-4 to make it through.
"Llodra in the next round is tough, he's a leftie and has a lot of flair so it'll be a good match," added Murray, who has now won 37 of his 38 matches against French players.
Novak Djokovic is 2.10 to go all the way this year, while Rafael Nadal is at 2.37.
