Andy Murray completed the perfect build-up to the Australian Open by beating Alexandr Dolgopolov in the Brisbane International final.
The Scot was rarely troubled by the third-seeded Ukrainian, eventually prevailing 6-1 6-3, which included a run of nine successive games from 1-1 in the first set.
Murray had some sympathy for Dolgopolov, who was struggling with a groin injury, after the match though, saying: "I'd like to say sorry to Alex as he had a problem with his leg. It's my first week with this new team and it was good.
"I really enjoyed it. Hopefully it'll bring more success in the future."
