De Gea in line to face Chelsea
February 04, 2012 10:15:34 UK
David De Gea is poised to start for Manchester United in Sunday's crunch Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Spaniard picked up an injury niggle at the beginning of the week but trained on Saturday morning in team formation.
His recovery will come as a relief to boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who was forced to start with rookie keeper Ben Amos for Tuesday night's 2-0 victory over Stoke City, after Anders Lindegaard picked up an ankle injury in training which will now sideline him for the next month.

Sir Alex has been at pains over the last 48 hours to underline the faith he has in De Gea, following a spate of high-profile errors since his £18million arrival from Atletico Madrid last summer.
The Old Trafford boss remains convinced his player is only lacking Premier League nous and will go on to establish himself as the outright No.1 at the club.
United will also be boosted by the return of striker Wayne Rooney who took part in the final preparations. Rooney has shown no obvious signs of discomfort from the ankle complaint that has kept him out of the last two games.
Skipper Rio Ferdinand is also in contention (back) after a good week and United can take on Andre Villas-Boas' side in a good frame of mind that they are finally starting to see their casualty list reduce.
United are 9.50 to win the game 1-0 with Rooney 6.00 to open the scoring. A 3-1 Chelsea victory is available at 21.00 while a goalless draw can be backed at 11.00.
