After losing to Victoria Bushrangers by a massive margin of 186 runs at Adelaide Oval on Sunday, South Australia's skipper Michael Klinger said that his team is still learning their trade.

The selectors are picking young blokes so sometimes we have to expect these sort of results.

The Redbacks got dominated by the Bushrangers from the very first session of this Sheffield Shield clash as the visiting team piled up 437 runs in their first innings, with their opening batsman Rob Quiney (114 runs) being the star of the show.
South Australia are 1.90 to win the 2011/12 Ryobi Cup, with Victoria 1213.00.
Quiney resumed Victoria's second innings in scintillating fashion and scored his second century of the game.

His innings enabled them to set a mammoth target of 445 runs for the home side to chase, which proved too big a task for them.
The Redbacks have been one of the best sides in the 50-over Ryobi Cup competition but their form has been totally opposite in the longer version of the game and Klinger admits that his team still has a lot of learning to do in Shield competition.
In the post-match interview, Klinger said: "It's been an up and down season ... four-day cricket we are very much a work in progress.
"The selectors are picking young blokes so sometimes we have to expect these sort of results, however there is no excuse for it.
"The guys in the team, and I'm one of them, should be performing as well as can be every time ... we still have some senior guys in the team who need to be putting their hand up a little bit more."
